Lynn & The RattleShakes

Lynn & The RattleShakes

Lynn & The Rattleshakes is a rockabilly band founded in 2018. The band consists of friends Lynn (Anne-Linde van de Veen - double bass), Dion Vluggen (guitar), Willem van Veen (guitar) and Fred Bonthuis (drums). The band was heavily influenced by artists from the 1950s such as Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran and Wanda Jackson.

Separately, the band members have gained enough experience because they have been able to travel a lot with their bands in recent years. The Rattleshakes are on stage as much as possible and in this way they show that rock 'n roll is far from dead. Their own work mixed with well-known classics from the fifties and sixties ensure that the band succeeds in turning every evening into a great party. Put on your dancing shoes and let's Rattle, Shake and Roll!

Anne-Linde van de Veen

Anne-Linde van de Veen

“She started with a short poem, which immediately attracted attention. The text was straightforward and was presented without embarrassment, followed by their own songs, some of which were very special, some with a quip. Both in terms of lyrics and the power she radiated during her performances,” according to the Limburgs Dagblad.
She already tours the Netherlands with her old fire brigade bus and performs at various festivals such as the Zwarte Cross, Scenes Connected, Bokpop, Bruis and she presented the world music festival El Dunya. She also sang in theaters such as the Magic Theater, Vestzak Theater, Pesthuys, Muziekgieterij, Theater aan het Vrijthof and the Schouwburg Almere.
She draws a lot of inspiration from other songwriters such as Herman van Veen, Wende, Nynke Laverman, Eefje de Visser and Roosbeef.
Her own compositions of guitar and vocals are a crossover of Portuguese Fado, Folk, Blues, and Flamenco. Anne-Linde is currently recording her second studio album, which will be released early next year.
